Whenever anyone talks about the young starting pitchers of the Mets, rarely is 25-year old righty Brandon Beachy talked about. But, this guy is the real deal and he keeps getting better. Beachy has started 2 games for the Braves so far this year and he is 1-1 with a 0.75 ERA and a 1.00 WHIP. He has only given up 7 hits in his first 12 innings this year as he has been downright nasty so far this year. Beachy has now pitched in 30 games (all starts) in his first three years with the Braves and he is 8-6 with a 3.42 ERA and a 1.22 WHIP.
