37-year old righty Livan Hernandez isn’t having much of a problem adjusting to his new role working out of the bullpen. Hernandez has pitched in 17 games (0 starts) for the Braves so far this year and he is 1-0 with 1 save, a 3.68 ERA and a 1.40 WHIP. His style really fits in on the Braves’ pitching staff as he is a junkballer, on a team loaded with pitchers who bring a lot of heat. Hernandez has now pitched in 492 games (474 starts) so far in his major league career and he is 175-176 with 1 save, a 4.39 ERA and a 1.44 WHIP.
