The Atlanta Falcons trade CB DeAngelo Hall to the Raiders
The Falcons have traded their top cornerback, DeAngelo Hall, to the Raiders for a 2nd round pick in 2008 and a 5th round pick in 2009. Hall played in 16 games last season for the Falcons and he made 70 tackles, defensed 16 passes, forced a fumble and intercepted 5 passes. Hall finished his career with the Falcons having played in 57 games and he made 230 tackles, defensed 48 passes, had 1/2 a sack, forced 3 fumbles and he intercepted 17 passes which he returned for 435 yards and 2 TDs. The Falcons wanted to get rid of Hall because of the way he acted last season and the Raiders accepted him with open arms. At least the Falcons got a nice pick in this year’s draft for Hall.

Alright, so with Vick gone, and now Hall is out of Atlanta too, the Falcons have most of the riftraft shipped out. Now I would go drastic, do a makeover and change the team colors and symbol. I’d want a new start to my franchise if I were them to correlate with this top pick coming in next week’s draft. It’s time for a fresh start.
